Anything. But Ordinary.

Well, I myself am proud to present you today my very first real English weblog. On the basis of the success of my main blog “Neon Wilderness” (which is written in German), I decided today to create another blog. Eternal Sunshine Of A Spotless Mind is the result of many thoughts and ideas. Maybe you wanna ask me, why I chose this name. The movie of the same title with Kate Winslet and Jim Carrey is, for me, on of the best movie I’ve ever seen.
I am nineteen years old, I live in Austria (in a small village called Pinsdorf). Maybe you’ll find a misspelling. If you do, please just let me know. I normally should know the English language, but sometimes I have my problems. In this weblog, I want to write about my life, my love, my friends, my family, my thoughts, my feelings, my pain, my dreams. To make a long story short … this blog is about my life. I wanna write every day at least one post, and … I’m looking forward to my very first comment. Tell me what you think about my life and my thoughts. If you like this blog, I would be happy, if you would fave my blog @ technorati.
//My name is // Dominik Leitner
//I live in// Pinsdorf (Upper Austria)
//Since// 19 years
//I am// melancholic, funny, splitted
//And that blog exists, because// I love writing. And I really like the English language.
//I need// my mp3-player with wonderful music, cigarettes and a notebook with a pencil.
//I don’t need// my mobile phone.
//I don’t like// to not get enough sleep.
//I listen to// nearly every kind of music. English Britpop, American Indie, German Indie, American Britpop and English Indie.
//My life is// interesting, funny, boring, suprising
//My future// will be interesting. New city, new life, new love maybe. And my way to the university.
//Ich write// with my right hand. But I really can write with my left hand nearly as good as with my right one.
//I absolutely need// a good book, my mp3-player and a notebook and a pencil.
//This blog is called “Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind”, because// I love that film. It’s breath-taking.

I’m scared of the feelings that “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” stir up inside of me. … It’s just that it’s been so long afterall.

What’s the name of that poem from the top of your sidebar? It sounds familiar, but I can’t place it….
Thanks!
H.
I think, the name of the poem is the first line of it. “How happy is the blameless Vestal’s lot”, written by Alexander Pope. For me, it’s a very wonderful poem. Well, and it’s part of the movie “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”.
Ah, Pope! No wonder I recognize it (had to take a class on him in college). Lovely.
Thanks.
